Microneedling for Radiant, Refreshed Skin

At Kenmi Aesthetics, microneedling is a gentle yet powerful way to rejuvenate your skin from within. Led by Christina Bush, NP (Master Injector), and overseen by Medical Director Dr. Brian Bush, DO, each treatment is thoughtfully customized to help you feel confident in your own skin.

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses ultra-fine, medical-grade needles to create thousands of precise, controlled micro-channels on the surface of the skin. These tiny channels trigger your body’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of fresh collagen and elastin — the building blocks of smooth, firm, and youthful-looking skin.

At Kenmi Aesthetics, we perform microneedling with advanced devices and a meticulous, clinical approach. Our goal is to safely remodel the skin while keeping you comfortable and relaxed throughout your visit.

What Can Microneedling Treat?

Because microneedling works from the inside out, it can improve a wide range of skin concerns on the face, neck, and other areas of the body. It is especially helpful for:

  • Fine lines and early wrinkles
  • Acne scars and other textural scars
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Mild pigmentation and sun damage
  • Overall skin dullness and loss of glow

Christina will evaluate your skin in person and design a treatment plan tailored to your unique concerns, skin type, and lifestyle.

How Microneedling Works

During a microneedling treatment, the device glides across your skin to create micro-channels at a carefully controlled depth. These channels are so small that they are nearly invisible to the eye, but they are enough to awaken your skin’s natural repair processes. As your skin heals, it produces new collagen and elastin fibers, which improve firmness, smoothness, and overall skin quality over time.

These micro-channels also temporarily enhance the absorption of medical-grade skincare and growth factors, allowing beneficial ingredients to penetrate more deeply for amplified results.

Benefits of Microneedling

Smoother texture & softer scars

By encouraging fresh collagen, microneedling gradually smooths rough or uneven areas and softens the look of acne scars and other textural irregularities. Over a series of treatments, skin feels more refined and looks more even in both texture and tone.

Firmer, more youthful-looking skin

As new collagen and elastin fibers form, the skin appears firmer and more resilient. Many clients notice a subtle tightening effect and improvement in early fine lines, especially around the eyes, mouth, and cheeks.

Refined pores & clearer-looking skin

By remodeling the skin from within, microneedling can help minimize the appearance of enlarged pores and improve areas prone to congestion. Skin often looks smoother, clearer, and more balanced.

Radiance & more even tone

Microneedling supports a more even-looking complexion by softening the appearance of mild discoloration and sun damage. As cell turnover increases, dullness gives way to a healthy, luminous glow that looks fresh, not overdone.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your consultation

Your experience begins with a thorough consultation with Christina Bush, NP. She will review your goals, medical history, and current skincare regimen, then examine your skin to determine whether microneedling — or a combination of treatments — is the best option for you.

During treatment

On the day of your treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable. Once your skin is numb, Christina will gently guide the microneedling device across the treatment areas in a smooth, methodical pattern. Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling rather than pain.

A typical microneedling session takes about 30–45 minutes, depending on the area being treated and whether it is combined with other services.

Downtime, Comfort, and Results

After your treatment

Immediately after microneedling, your skin may appear pink to mildly red, similar to a light sunburn. You may also feel a bit warm or tight. This typically subsides within 24–48 hours. Most clients are comfortable returning to work or normal activities the next day with gentle skincare and mineral SPF.

We provide clear, simple aftercare instructions so you know exactly how to care for your skin and what to avoid while it heals.

When you’ll see results

Many people notice a healthy glow within a few days as the initial redness fades. Collagen remodeling is gradual, with the most visible improvements in texture, tone, and firmness developing over 4–12 weeks. For best results, we typically recommend a series of 3–4 treatments spaced several weeks apart, followed by periodic maintenance.

Microneedling with PRP for Enhanced Results

For clients seeking even more dramatic rejuvenation, microneedling can be combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRP is derived from a small sample of your own blood that is spun in a centrifuge to isolate a concentrated layer rich in growth factors.

When PRP is applied over freshly microneedled skin, it can soak into the micro-channels and deliver these natural growth factors directly where they are needed most. This pairing supports faster healing, more robust collagen stimulation, and an extra boost in radiance and skin quality.

During your consultation, Christina will discuss whether adding PRP to your microneedling treatment is the right choice for your skin and goals.

Is Microneedling Right for You?

Microneedling is a versatile treatment that can be safely performed on most skin types with minimal downtime. It is an excellent option if you are looking for a non-surgical way to smooth texture, soften scars, refine pores, and restore a healthy glow without changing the natural character of your face.

At Kenmi Aesthetics, you are never just a number on a schedule. Christina and Dr. Bush take the time to listen, educate, and guide you toward a plan that feels aligned with your goals and your comfort level so you can move forward with confidence.
